Do you offer classes?
Bow House Studio offers private or small group classes. Please refer to the Classes page for more information on class types and how to book.
Do you offer studio memberships?
Monthly memberships are available. More information can be found on the Membership page.
Do you have a physical retail location?
Bow House Studio’s ceramics can be purchased at the following locations:
• Bow House Studio – (appointment needed) 82 Main Street, Suite B3, Bridgton, ME
• Online Store
• Factor Fine Art – 67 Main Street, Bridgton, ME
• Occasional Maine and New Hampshire craft fairs and farmers markets. Please reference the event schedule.
What types of pottery do you sell?
Bow House Studio specializes in functional pottery such as vases, bowls, mugs, coasters, sponge holders, and more. Ceramic jewelry and sculpture are also available for purchase. Please visit the Online Shop to view products.
Are the products food safe? Microwave and dishwasher safe?
All of Bow House Studio’s pottery is food safe (you can eat/drink from it). It is also microwave safe (UNLESS it contains a gold or silver lustre),
All items are dishwasher safe although handwashing is recommended.
Products with a matte glaze finish (versus glossy) may not perform as well in use (e.g. using a fork and knife on a matte finish could result in scratching).
Do you accept custom, wholesale, or personalized orders?
Depending on several factors including quantity, production time, and materials, a custom or wholesale order may be accepted. Please contact the studio by phone or email to discuss options.
What is your return or exchange policy?
All sales are final. If you believe your item may be defective please contact the studio with your concern,
My order arrived broken!
In the rare case that an item arrives broken, you may contact Bow House Studio to request a refund and provide photos of the broken item as well as the box it was packaged in. This helps to understand why it broke and prevent future occurrences.
My item broke during use!
Once you receive your item and begin using it, Bow House Studio is no longer liable for any breaks, chips, or cracks that may occur. Pieces are designed to be durable enough for every day use, but it is always possible that breakage may occur.
What is the US shipping cost?
Flat rate shipping within the US is currently offered for $6.95. This is subject to change in the future.
What is the international shipping cost?
Fixed rates start at $35 and go up to $75 USD depending on location. This is subject to change in the future.
Bow House Studio will supply a partial refund on international shipping if a lower shipping rate is secured at the time of postage. Please understand that the fixed rates are estimates based on current prices from various carriers.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! A local pickup/delivery option will display at checkout if you input certain Maine and New Hampshire zip codes. Bow House Studio will contact you to arrange a pickup or delivery of your order. If you’d like local pickup but it does not display as an option, please proceed to pay the shipping rate and either leave a note on the order or contact the studio to request shipping reimbursement and schedule a pickup.
